It's Summer Time!

"Tank" the Aqua-pooch says.....
Summer is the time for endless opportunities
for fun in the sun! Here are some tips for avoiding
summertime challenges for your pet:
-
Keeping cool - heatstroke is the most common summer related danger. Keeping your pet in air conditioning or exercising in the mornings or evenings are helpful.
-
Watch the water - keep on eye on your pet around swimming pools or other bodies of water....as well as hazards IN the water too!
-
Pesky parasites - summer is the time they thrive so keeping your pet on a regular parasite control regimen is important.
-
Terrible toxins - watch carefully that they don't get into poisonous plants, chemicals or other substances that can be toxic. If you think they have been poisoned, contact us immediately.
-
Travel turmoil - plan ahead and be aware of pet restrictions for airlines, hotels or other destinations.
