Dr. Rhet Schultz DVM

The most wonderful aspect of being a Veterinarian is that no day is ever the same. Each workday I experience different clients, patients, and situations. Along with working alongside a dedicated and loyal staff, this variety is why I look forward to going to work. My staff and I will always strive to provide superior patient care by utilizing advanced techniques and technology to keep our companions happy and healthy.

Dr. John Carr DVM

Dr. John Carr has practiced veterinary medicine since graduation in 1980 from Murdoch University in Western Australia.  His professional experience includes a residency in Equine Reproduction at the University of California at Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital, and work in equine exclusive, small animal, and mixed animal practice in both the United States and Australia.

Dr. Carr’s personal interests include hiking, hunting and fishing, and tennis.  Much of his time is spent pottering around his small ranch with wife Cathleen, daughters Caitlin and Marie, and their menagerie of pets and farm animals.

                                                Practice Manager

I grew up in Oregon City, Oregon where I was very active in 4-H and animals were always a big part of my life. My passion for horses and my competitive nature led me to be a trainer for many years and compete in several different equine disciplines. I moved to Central Oregon in 2002 and I absolutely love it here! My husband and I live in Powell Butte with our amazing son Kody, where we raise registered quarter horses and cattle. I was a client of Prineville Veterinary Clinic for several years and have always had complete trust in the knowledgeable doctors and staff.  I love being part of such an amazing team!

Growing up in Central Oregon, I have always been a lover of animals and the outdoors.  After living in Southern California for five years, where I met my husband and followed him from here to there throughout his Navy career, we decided to move back to my hometown of Prineville.  We adopted three fabulous dogs along the way, all with their own quirky personalities and plenty of energy to keep up with our active lifestyles.  Apart from enjoying spending time with friends and family I am fortunate to have found such a wonderful work family here at Prineville Veterinary Clinic.  I'm extremely happy to have the opportunity to be part of such a caring team of amazing people.

Licensed Veterinary Technician

I was born and raised in Prineville, where animals have always found a way to be a large part of my lifestyle. I enjoy spending time with my husband and family. We have two great dogs, one witty paint horse, and a kitten that will keep you laughing. A few of my favorite activities are riding horses and snowmobiling. I was blessed with the opportunity to grow up within Prineville Veterinary Clinic. I value the leading edge technology and medicine we provide. We strive to continue learning and growing with veterinary medicine; while still maintaining a small town veterinarian atmosphere.

                                 Licensed Veterinary Technician

I have wanted to work with animals for as long as I can remember, and I have taken steps to fulfill that dream since I began school.  I grew up in Bend, Oregon but I have lived in Prineville since I was 13 years old.  I enrolled at Central Oregon Community College after graduating high school and received my Associate's degree in Biology in 2014.  Around this time COCC opened a brand new Vet Tech Program so I quickly made the decision to start a career in Veterinary Medicine. I am now a licensed Veterinary Technician and I could not be happier fulfilling my dream of doing what I love.  I go to work every day excited to see what's going to come through our doors.  I have many pets of my own, mostly exotics such as reptiles and tarantulas, as well as a very energetic Red Heeler named Boo.  My hobbies include hiking and traveling, collecting things from nature, crafting/painting/drawing and spending time with my friends and pets.  I was a long-time client of Prineville Veterinary Clinic and I could not be more grateful that I get to be part of such an amazing, wonderful team!

                              Licensed Veterinary Technician

I was raised in Redmond, Oregon where I still live today.  I am married with two grown sons and I love to spend time with my family, camping, hunting and doing wood working projects.  I have always loved animals and share my home with my dog Nakita, a chinchilla, a bearded dragon, parakeets and a few fish tanks.  I decided to go to college after I raised my children and graduated in June of 2016 from the  Veterinary Technician  program.  I did a three week internship at Prineville Veterinary Clinic and fell in love with the atmosphere and wonderful staff.  They made me feel like I was part of the family and I was very excited when they asked me to become part of their amazing team!

I currently live in Bend, Oregon and have called it home for 15 years now.  I graduated from Central Oregon Community College with an Associate's degree as a Veterinary Technician.  Since I was a little kid, I always knew my career would be doing something that involved animals.  I have achieved my goal of becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician and I couldn't be happier with my career choice!  My time spent away from work, I enjoy spending time with family and my boyfriend.  Together we enjoy hunting and camping.  I am so thankful for having the opportunity to work here at Prineville Veterinary Clinic.  I love being part of this amazing team!
